We are a couple of blocks from the beach and the train station. There&#8217;s a walled tidal brook flowing to the sea at the end of our block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the way, we needed help to learn the pronunciation of the name of our neighborhood. Here&#8217;s how to say it: Cuh-SHEE-ish. X can be &#8220;sh&#8221; or &#8220;zh&#8221; or even &#8220;z&#8221;. Lots to learn. And Oeiras is oo-AIR-ish, but not with an American accent. &#8220;ei&#8221; is a tricky combo, leaning toward &#8220;i&#8221; but not quite. Even Lisboa is tricky for us Americans.
