We are still getting used to heavy packs on trails with small loose rocks at high altitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drive to Passo Falzarego<br>Take to cable car to the cliff top rifugio of Lagazuoi, elevation 2752 meters or 9029 feet. The big-capacity gondola could fit maybe 20 people if you crowd. Very windy and dramatic. We got out all our windbreaker gear, which we used for many pre-dawn outings.
