Photopills / Covid

Well, no huge surprise I guess, but we both got what seems to be panning out as mild cases of Covid. Pam started feeling bad Weds night during a light-painting shoot.

Thursday was a lightly scheduled day and she felt well enough to come to a couple of the classes. We skipped a longish hike to a sunset shoot at a couple of really pretty beaches. Friday Pam tested herself with one of our kits and she was positive. I also tested myself and was negative and felt fine. Friday was scheduled to be another marathon 23 hour day, so we skipped the photography and I went to most of the classes. Pam came to a couple of the classes but skipped a few as this was her worst day. Her symptoms were mostly a dry cough, sore throat, and congestion. I was feeling mostly fine.

Saturday was scheduled to be a fun day with a boat trip and a big lunch. After showering and eating breakfast, Pam was feeling much better and we went on the trip. It really felt like kind of a turning point. Sunday and Monday weren’t quite as good, but somewhat Ok.

Monday morning we decided to re-test and were both positive. It didn’t seem like there was anything preventing us from leaving for Lisbon, so we’re now waiting at the Menorca airport for a flight to Madrid.

Despite the Covid, we both thought the trip was really exceptional.
